A delegation from the Syriac Union Party in Syria visited the headquarters of the Armenian Catholic Archdiocese in Damascus, where they met with Archbishop George Asadorian, the Armenian Catholic Archbishop of Damascus.
The visiting delegation included the co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party in Syria, Senharib Barsoum, and the Head of the Party’s Relations Office, Ephrem Ishaq.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the general situation in Syria and the specific circumstances of the Christian community in light of current developments and ongoing changes in the country.
This visit comes as part of the Syriac Union Party’s efforts to strengthen relations with all political parties, institutions, and churches, aiming to unify the ranks of the Syriac-Assyrian people and the Christian community in general amid the current challenges facing Syria.
