A delegation from the Syriac Union Party in Syria visited His Grace Hanna Jallouf, Apostolic Vicar of the Latin Church in Syria, at the Latin Vicariate seat in the Al-Shahbaa Al-Jadida neighborhood of Aleppo.
The delegation included SUP Public Relations Officer Afram Ishaq and members of the SUP Aleppo branch Diab Issa and Fadi Gerges. During the meeting, the delegation presented an overview of the organization of the Syriac Union Party, its activities, projects, and work in Syria. It also shared its vision on the general situation in the country and the challenges facing the Syrian people in general, and the Syriac community in particular.
Vicar Apostolic Hanna Jallouf, in turn, emphasized the importance of cooperation among the various components of society to rebuild the country. He stressed that the neglect of any component of Syria’s rich tapestry would be detrimental and represent a loss to the country.
Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation in ways that serve the interests of Syria and its people and contributes to consolidating the values of coexistence and national unity
