A delegation from the Syriac Union Party paid a visit to the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization on Wednesday in the city of Qamishli.
The visiting delegation included the Co-Presidents of the Syriac Union Party in Syria, Sanharib Barsoum and Shameram Danho, as well as Executive Committee member Ephrem Ishaq.
They were received by Gabriel Moushe, Head of the Organization, Gawrieh Shabo, Head of the Syria Branch, and Bassam Youssef, member of the General Secretariat.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the most important developments taking place in Syria, especially during this critical phase. They also addressed the situation of the Syriac-Assyrian people in particular, and the Christian community in general, in Syria.
The discussion highlighted the importance of joint action between the two parties and all national parties representing our people in Syria, as well as the strategic approach needed to achieve the aspirations of our people in the country.
