The Syriac Union Party held a special event to mark the anniversary of the arrest of party leader “Saeed Malke,” with the attendance of representatives from various institutions of the Beth Nahrain National Council — military, civil, political, and women’s — in addition to the presence of the parish council of the Church of the Virgin Mary.
The event began with a minute of silence in honor and respect for the souls of the martyrs.
This was followed by a speech from the co-presidency of the Syriac Union Party – Qabre Hewore branch, delivered by Faya Ardish, in which she addressed the struggle of leader Saeed Malke and his honorable career.
Afterward, a video presentation was shown about the life of leader Saeed Malke and his national struggle, highlighting the most prominent stages of his life and his stances in the struggle.
In conclusion, thanks were extended to all attendees and participants in this event.
