With a large turnout from our Syriac-Assyrian people and representatives of the Bethnahrain National Council institutions, the Syriac Union Party in the city of Hasakah held a special event marking the anniversary of the arrest of leader Saeed Malke.
The event began with a minute of silence for the souls of the righteous martyrs, followed by a special cine-vision presentation about the life of leader Saeed Malke.
Then, a speech on behalf of the party was delivered by Mr. Fadi Daoui, Co-Chair of the Hasakah branch of the Syriac Union Party.
After that, Mr. Gabriel Shamoun, member of the Executive Committee of the Syriac Union Party, gave a detailed explanation about the latest political developments in the region.
