This evening, Wednesday, the Syriac Union Party commemorated the twentieth anniversary of its founding during a celebration held at the Gulbenkian Hall in Qamishli.
The event was attended by representatives of political parties, institutions of the Autonomous Administration, civil society organizations, and a large crowd from our people.
The evening began with a moment of silence in honor of the souls of all martyrs, followed by performances from the Yartutha dance groups for adults and children, affiliated with the Syriac Cultural Association, presenting folkloric pieces from our rich heritage.
Afterwards, a speech was delivered by Mrs. Shamiram Danho, co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party in Syria, in which she reviewed the Party’s struggle, its constant pursuit of our people’s rights, and its important role in the current stage.
This was followed by the reading of congratulatory telegrams, then a cine-vision presentation highlighting the Party’s achievements, political meetings, and its journey over the past twenty years.
At the conclusion of the event, thanks were extended to all who contributed to the success of the celebration, with wishes for the Party’s continued prosperity and progress.
