In order to inform our Syriac Assyrian Chaldean people about the latest political developments, the Syriac Union Party held a dialogue seminar on Wednesday in Derik, at the hall of the Church of Mart Shmouni.
The seminar was attended by a number of representatives from Syriac political parties, church figures, independent personalities, and a large gathering from our community.
The event began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. Following this, Ephrem Ishaq, the party’s Head of Relations, spoke about the latest developments in the region, the Syriac Union Party’s vision regarding the current and future situation, and the overall activities the party is currently carrying out across various Syrian regions.
For her part, the Co-Chair of the Syriac Union Party in Syria, Shamiram Denho, addressed the mechanism currently being followed to integrate the various institutions of the Autonomous Administration with state institutions.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the floor was opened for attendees to present their comments and questions, which were answered by the speakers. The seminar ended with thanks extended to the participants for their attendance and engagement.
